Large vintage clay water pot from India.
Approximate measurements are 150cm high x 70cm wide.
Traditionally known as Matka pots, they are used for storage and to cool water through natural evaporation. Often handcrafted in Terracotta, these pots feature rounded, organic shapes perfect for rustic decor and gardens.
These are very old and each one has different markings and a different patina.
Because of their fragile nature, these are a pick up item only.
