This antique Pitara box is a beautiful example of a traditional Indian storage chest. These trunks were used to store valuables and family heirlooms. Today, original examples of this quality, are increasingly rare. Because of it’s age, there could be the odd imperfection which just adds to it’s authentic character and charm.
